''If this isn't heaven, it's halfway there - you can feel it in the air''. It's debatable if Rodney Atkins (the singer of the song in which the quote was derived) has been to Alaska, or if he knows anything about the views on the Kenai Peninsula - but he sure described it well. This 5 acre lot is in renowned Homer, Alaska - a place that's known as the "Halibut Fishing Capital of the World", "Hamlet by the Sea", and, my personal favorite "Shangri-La" - a term actually used in a fictional sense, but has taken a literal turn to the REAL LIFE that awaits in Homer. From this 5 acres, you'll have an unobstructed view of Cook Inlet - a maritime waterway that hosts cruise ships, ferries, cargo ships, and private yachts. While this type of waterway can be found across the world, the uniqueness of this one is marked by it's alignment with the Aleutian Mountain Range. The very range that is home to the iconic Ring of Fire - a string of volcanos that ride against the endless sky - together, they put on a SHOW STOPPING, arguably life altering, performances throughout the year. There's more than a few lots on the market, but this one is extra special. There's minimal wetlands (almost all buildable area), and NO RESTRICTIONS! You can do what you want here! While there's no road directly to the property, there are platted roads (see photos), so you can put one in -- or a few! Looking to capitalize on the unique location and lack of restrictions? GO FOR IT! You could put several cabins on this property and with the platted roads, you could establish several different entrances. Or, keep the road development minimal and keep this paradise all to yourself - a veritable paradise, or Shangri-La for you and those that you love. Welcome to the best of Alaska - don't pinch yourself, I promise it's real life, or is it Heaven? If anything, it's certainly halfway there.
