  • Grab your boots (or sneakers) and come dance with the best country band in Alaska!
  • The Ken Peltier band has that unique ability to blend its deep country roots with classic Americana rock and blues. Ken’s top-notch musicianship and down-home charisma make the Ken Peltier Band Alaska’s Premier Country Band.
  • Ken Peltier is the frontman for the Ken Peltier Band. The band was formed in 1996 fueled by Ken’s passion for singing, songwriting, and guitar playing. The Ken Peltier Band plays clubs, arenas, and special events, from the Alaska State Fair to Arctic Man attended by fifteen thousand extreme snowmobile and ski enthusiasts. Ken and the band also take time to do shows and events to raise money for Leukemia Lymphoma research, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospitals, The American Cancer Society, Shriners, and Elks and Wounded Warriors.

  • This is a softball tourney fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
  • This year we are doing a regular Coed tourney with a few more pickups. Tickets are for entering a team into the tourney, if you are an individual and want to play contact us.

Annual Recovery BBQ at Nunley Park, May 28

  • Join us for Food, Fun, and Fellowship at this family-friendly recovery event. Cornhole competition will also be occurring during the BBQ, First place price available to the winning team.

Big Lake Farm and Garden Tour at Big Lake, May 28

  • Our community is RICH with local producers - from food to flowers - and they are excited to open up their businesses to you!
  • Grab a coffee and a friend and spend the day touring farms and gardens local to the Big Lake area. It's going to be fun, informative, and it's a great way to learn more about your local resources!
  • This event is FREE to the public. A tour map will be posted to this event on the morning of the event so you'll need to check in here to get that information before you head out.
